THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER

They served the world.
Now they need us.

Thousands of career USAID employees — public servants who responded to earthquakes, famines and pandemics overseas, and improved lives and livelihoods and increased economic and political stability around the world, making the United States safer and more prosperous – on behalf of the American people— have been terminated without due process. We’re raising funds for legal services to enforce federal laws governing the termination of federal employees  and protect the integrity of nonpartisan public service.

They Answered the Call. Will You?

The Law Was Broken. We Are Fighting Back.

What's Happening

Thousands of USAID career staff have been unlawfully fired. Not laid off. Not reassigned. Fired without cause, without process, in violation of federal law. People who spent careers responding to famines, pandemics, and disasters - who ensured good stewardship of your tax dollars - who  tirelessly endeavored to bring economic prosperity and share democratic values with peoples and governments from around the globe - on behalf of the American people, discarded overnight. While we can’t reclaim lives lost overseas as a result— more than 14 million by 2030, according to this study in the Lancet, including 4.5 million kids under 5 - we can obtain a measure of justice for many people in the workforce whose work previously helped save them.

Why It Can't Wait

Every day without legal action is a day the government faces zero consequences. Cases are being built right now, but attorneys, filing fees, and court costs don't wait. The window to challenge these terminations is narrow. Miss it, and these workers lose their legal recourse forever.

What Your Money Does

This fund pays for legal support from lawyers - real ones - already working these cases. Your donation helps cover the legal and related costs, and other resources needed to fight the federal government in court.
